Whether you like cultural outings, balls, concerts, or singular events, the entertainment program of the region should allow you to find your happiness.

During the summer period the surrounding towns and villages organize, in turn, festivals called "votive". For the occasion, concerts, parades and fireworks are organized. Note the traditional medieval feast of St Ambroix which is reviving each year the legend of "Volo Biou", and the one of St Jean de Maruejols punctuated by a sumptuous fireworks shot over the lake.

Two times a year, 5 days around Easter and 5 days around August the 15^th, stands the great antiques fair and secondhand antiques market in Barjac (more than 400 exhibitors). People of all horizons and nationalities gather to admire or mock these objects of art and value. The opportunity to go back in time on the trace of the habits and customs of yesteryear, to perfect a collection, or to find real favorites not found elsewhere!

Do you like text songs? ... songs of words and character? ... then the famous festival "Barjac m'enchante" will delight you! For a week, the renaissance city, sees its main squares and the courtyard of its castle, inebriated by the jubilation and passion of a concentrate of talented artists and their warm and cheerful crowd.

Conferences exploring various themes are very often organized on the Grand Site of Aven d'Orgnac , at the Maison de l'eau of Allègres les Fumades, and the Barjac's cinema. The opportunity to delve into local history, to enrich one's points of view on controversial topics, or to share and make encounters around sensible values.
